| this really has been the longest month i've ever been through. we've moved out of the house and i didn't realize how hard it's been until tonight. i have never lived anywhere else except that house and my heart has never felt so heavy.
i got my double promotion at work (shift manager/ merchandise coordinator) at the same time my dad fired my mom and changed the locks at the store. so, at least now i am capable of helping out with groceries and bills.
i feel like i am somewhat being stripped of my youth.i really wish that i could go do the whole out-of-edmond college experience. i hate not being in school and all i can do is work full time for as long as i can and then maybe go to UCO part time and live at home/the condo. for now, anyways. i know i could make it in to OU. i really need to figure out what i want to do career-wise. i could go into the corporate office at beauty brands, but i can do way better than that. for right now, i am just really blessed to have such great managers that understand my situation and my needs.
i would really like to be a counselor. i'm such a butthead, i am determined to get myself through anything and i am convinced i am going to be successful. i would be in a lot WORSE shape if i wasn't so headstrong/ an ass. i'm glad this is happening to me now rather than someone else who may be a lot more vulnerable and sensitive. i would really like to help some kid out there through al of their home life problems. only once had i ever gone to school with a bruise on my arm from my father, but i was brainwashed in to thinking it was normal and i was helpless. one is just ONE too many. my counselor has helped tremendously. it makes all the difference in the world.
today was cycle count day at 645 am
tomorrow is shipment day from 1-9
i'm excited

i have the highest sales percentage out of all of the BB employees
i am going to counselling to ready me to fix things with dad
i have not spoken to my dad in a month
overall, things are starting to look up for me
